Bio

Ronja Koepke

Ronja Koepke is a L.A based actress born in Stockholm, Sweden. She got her training from New York Film Academy and just finished shooting "At the End" in Florida.

At the age of 16 she decided to attend High School of Performing Arts with theatre training. She also performed as a singer and worked as a journalist. After High School she attended Linnaeus University to study Journalism and media production, however she realised acting is her true hearts desire and after graduation she moved to New York to attend New York Film Academy, 1 year Acting for Film.

Before she graduated from NYFA she auditioned and got offered the lead in Jason Whitmore's "At the End" (the film is now in post production). She has participated in several commercials and TV-productions in Sweden.

She has a work permit to work legally in the U.S.

Ronja loves to sing, write and travel.

Acting: New York Film Academy, Acting for Film 1 year, Text & Improvisation Workshops with Joakim Nätterqvist, VRG Performing Arts Theatre High School.

Voice: Singing 5 years, Gun-Marie Eriksson

Movement: Jazz dance 2 years, Street dance 1 year. Voice and Movement (Alexander Technique, Lecoq, View points and Compositions),Tracy Hazard and Peter Stone. Suzuki training by Paul Warner.

She has had a string of unhealthy (and sometimes abusive) relationships because she tries to reach the good that is buried deep down in people, but she is often let down. She is a DJ at a local club and has an appreciation for all music.

Ronja is featured as main character Alice's best friend in Ice Scream. Shooting all day in Los Angeles Saturday.

In the space of just one year, ICE SCREAM has won more awards than any other Italian mini-feature in history: 15 prestigious international awards and 50 official nominations. And now it's set to conquer America: ICE SCREAM recently became available on iTunes and DVD Stateside.

In the film, a guy named Micky walks into a store to buy a frozen treat for his girlfriend and bumps into two bullies, who kidnap, humiliate, and torture him. Once he escapes, revenge isn't the only thing Micky has in mind.

Ronja auditioned thursday and immediately got cast as the Bartender in the play "Love in all the wrong faces" based on the book by Laval Belle.

The play is produced by Seven T Eight Productions, Inc. and directed by Taja V. Simpson.

Ronja plays the female lead Evelyn Snow, with Chris Devlin who appeared on the hit show "Mad Men" this year.

The film is shot in Florida spring 2012 on amazing locations and will be 20-30 mins long.

Girl from Kalmar future moviestar in the U.S

Ronja Koepke from Kalmar who moved to New York to study acting, just finished filming a picture with actor Chris Devlin who recently appeared in the hit show "Mad Men". Ronja plays the female lead in the film called "At the End". For the shoot Ronja flew from New York to Florida, she plays a Red Cross doctor. She spent three weeks on set and it was a wonderful experience. Ronja will now pursue acting in Los Angeles.

After a meeting with the producer yesterday it's now finalized that Ronja will play Emily in the short film "Ordinary Moviestar".

Ronja will now go home and polish the brittish accent for the part. The shoot will take place in Stockholm, Sweden during july/august.
